ABSTRACT
This study aimed at establishing the linguistics status of ideophones and their characterization, Using Edo language.
This research work is in four chapters. The first chapter concern literature review that is the contributions of different scholars and linguistics that have contributed to topic of this study. The chapter is divided into three sections, they are: conceptual review, previous studies and present studies. The third chapter concern Data presentation that is data that are collected or gathered for analysis. Also involves data analysis and interpretation of Data result for this investigation. Chapter four gives us the summary, findings and conclusion of the investigation under study.
