ABSTRACT
Objective: To assess and understand the knowledge and awareness of iatrogenic injuries amongst dentists and final year dental students Method: A study design is a Cross Sectional study. The study was conducted among Dental Surgeons, Dental House Officers and Clinical Final Year Students at the Dental Center, Department of Periodontics, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City, Nigeria. Convenience sampling method was used in this study. Questionnaires were administered by the researcher to the patients and Dental Surgeons during clinic hours. Data from the questionnaires was collated, screened for completeness and correctness, coded and entered into IBM SPSS version 25.0 software for the analysis. A total of 50 questionnaires was used.
