The leaves of the plants were washed and shade dried processed into polyherbal aqueous extract. The rats were grouped into graded doses of treatment groups, positive (50,100, 200 mg/kg) and negative control randomly selected, wound was cause using standard procedure. The result showed that there was a significant increase in the fibrinogenic level at 50,100 and 200 mg/kg of extract when compared with the untreated control (diabetes control) when compared with control groups. In conclusion, topical application of this extract on open wound has beneficial effects on wound contraction and healing and might serve as a promising medication for wound treatment, with the aid of further study.
