ABSTRACT
This study examines the factors affecting procurement performance in the public sector. The study was to establish the effect of procurement planning, staff competency procurement procedure and resource allocation on the procurement performance in the public sector. The data for the study was obtained from the Edo State Public Procurement Agency. A total of 20 questionnaires were administered during the research. The data was analyzed using the simple percentage (%) statistical techniques. Then findings revealed that the procurement performance has a significant effect in the process of procurement. The study therefore recommends that staff training and technological advancement is needed in the process of procurement performance.
