ABSTRACT
This study focused on extension workers access and utilization of information communication technology for extension service delivery in Delta State, Nigeria. The specific objectives were to: examine the personal characteristics of extension workers in the study area; identify the ICTs facilities available in the study area; identify the activities and tasks carried out with ICTs facilities in the study area; examine the effectiveness of extension workers in utilization of ICTs for job performance; identify the constraints faced by extension workers to effectively use ICTs in the study area. Data from primary sources was used in this study. The primary data was obtained through the use of structured questionnaires. Eighty(80) copies of questionnaires was administered to extension workers (respondents) in the three zones of DSADP. The use of questionnaires enables the adequate collection of information within the limited time frame of the research study. The data collected from the respondents was analyzed using statistical tools such as descriptive statistics (frequency counts, percentages and means).
