ABSTRACT
In this study we talked about the introduction which entails of the exponential family of distribution, basic definitions, the aims and objectives and also the scope of the study. The second chapter covers the literature review i.e, the past works of various researchers concerning exponential family of distribution. Also some relationships of some of the distribution were discussed. In the third chapter, the methodology includes the point estimation using methods of moments. In the fourth chapter, the analysis of the study was carried out using showing some properties such as the mean, variance, skewness and kurtosis all carried out using the program R to carry out the estimations. Finally the fifth chapter contains the summary and conclusion of the study.
