ABSTRACT
The broad objectives of this study is to ascertain the excessive Regulations and the Survival of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria: The Way Forward. In this study, an attempt is made to create awareness amongst students as well as the general public on the various forms of regulations the federal government gives, the important aspect of the national economy. The essay covers five main chapter: chapter one contains the introduction, objective of the study, scope, significant of the essay, definition of terms. Chapter two reviews some of the existing literature, in which the aim of the exercise is to enable the researcher delve into the elements under the study and to bring limelight the reality of the situation. While the chapter three covers the description and discussion on various techniques and procedures used in the study to collect and analyze the data as it is deemed appropriate. Chapter four is devoted to the presentation, chi-square analysis and interpretation of data gathered in the course of the study and the number copies of the questionnaire completed and returned by the respondents in the course of the study. Chapter five consist of the findings, conclusion and recommendations of the study.
