ABSTRACT
Bell's palsy is a condition causing temporary facial paralysis. Using a patient-centered approach, this study evaluated the efficacy of prednisolone and acyclovir in treating Bell's palsy. The dataset included 494 Bell's palsy cases. Statistical analyses revealed significant differences in recovery outcomes among various treatment combinations at 3 and 9 months. While gender did not impact treatment success rates, age significantly influenced recovery rates. The treatment groups receiving prednisolone and acyclovir exhibited higher recovery rates compared to placebo groups at both time points. The findings suggest combining prednisolone and acyclovir improves recovery rates, with age being a crucial factor influencing treatment success. This study highlights the importance of tailoring treatments based on patient characteristics and the need for continued research to optimize Bell's palsy management strategies and enhance patient well-being.
