ABSTRACT
This research examined the relationship between entrepreneurial success and business performance among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Benin City, Nigeria. By combining survey data from 150 SME owners, we identified key factors driving success and business growth. Our analysis revealed a strong link between entrepreneurial success and business performance, with innovation, risk-taking, and strategic planning emerging as crucial success factors. Moreover, access to finance, effective marketing, and human resource management were found to significantly impact business performance. This study added to the existing body of knowledge on entrepreneurship and SME development, offering valuable insights for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and stakeholders seeking to foster entrepreneurial success and business growth in Benin City and beyond.
