ABSTRACT
This study was designed to examine the effect of employees relations on Productivity of Macadams Publishers Limited in Benin City. Using a specific research design and data collection methods, gathered information from 125 employees at Macadams Publishers Limited in Benin City. Employees were asked questions using a structured questionnaire. However, out of the total number of questionnaires distributed, 80 were considered valid and usable for analyzing the data. This means that the response rate was 64%. Before the main survey was conducted, a small test was done with 30 staff members in a similar way to see how it would work. All 30 surveys given to the participants were returned. A survey was conducted where people could fill out themselves to gather information for the main research. Different ways was used to analyze the data collected. First, the average (mean) of the data to get an overall idea. Then a special type of analysis called regression analysis to look for relationships between different variables. All this was carried out using a program called SPSS, version27. The relationship between employees and employers at Macadams Publishers Limited was found to be positive and important for their productivity. This was determined by a study with a sample size of 80 participants, where a correlation coefficient of 0.630 was observed. The significance value was less than 0. 01, indicating strong significance of the relationship. The research found that it is important for a company or business to have a good relationship between employees and employers in order to be productive. Future research should include publishing companies from different areas of Benin City.
