ABSTRACT
Swine wastewater is becoming a severe environmental hazard. Swine wastewater's high nutrient and harmful pollutant levels have a substantial influence on the ecology and population health. On the other hand, swine wastewater is regarded as a valuable supply of water and nutrients formicroalgae development. The influence of swine wastewater on the microalgae Protococcus sp. and Staurastrum gracile was investigated in this study for 14 days. The microalgae species were cultivated in triplicate in a medium containing (7) concentrations (0, 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 and25%) ofswine wastewater. On a visible spectrophotometer, optical density at 750nmwas utilised to quantify growth responses, and numerous physicochemical characteristics were investigated at the beginning and finish using established procedures. Microsoft Excel 2010 and the statistical software for social science SPSS 22 were used to perform descriptive statistics, inferential (one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and posthoc test Duncan multiple range (DMR). The findings revealed that varied swine wastewater concentrations influenced the growth of Staurastrum gracile and Protococcus Sp.
