SUMMARY

This result has shown that only seven students were found to be overweight. Mean arterial pressure, diastolic blood pressure and Systolic blood pressure was found to possess little or no significant effect on normal weight and overweight students. This little or no effect in mean arterial blood pressure, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure on normal weight and overweight may be due to age, fitness etc. While in pulse rate it was observed that there was a significant change which is at a result of fats in tissues which reduces the flow of blood through the vessels so the heart complements by pumping blood in a fast rate which increases the pulse.
