ABSTRACT
Due to the lack of a potential cure and the accompanying defect in allopathic treatments, as well as the fact that natural goods are less dangerous and more economical, comprehensive investigations on these products have been done. The discovery and evaluation of medicines' therapeutic potential resulted in the creation of innovative, cost-effective treatments for a range of diseases, including chronic wounds. In-vitro cell scratch testing is an efficient and costeffective way to find out whether plant extracts can effectively treat wounds. Andrographis paniculata (A. Paniculata), Zingiber officinale (Z. officinale), and Annona muricata (A. muricata) are examples of traditional herbal treatments for wound care. The current study's objective was to evaluate a polyherbal formulation's capacity to speed wound healing in Wistar albino rats using excision, incision, and dead space wound models. The formulation included A. paniculata, Z. officinale, and A. muricata. Different formulations were made using extracts from A. Paniculata, Z. officinale, and A. Muricata in varying quantities. Observations of wound healing were made on days 1, 7, and 14. The conclusion that polyherbal formulations can be utilized to treat a variety of human wound types is supported by the finding that they have wound healing capabilities, probably as a result of their epithelization.
