ABSTRACT
The increasing prevalence of high fructose diets in modern eating habits has raised concerns about their impact on public health, particularly their connection to metabolic disorders. This research explores the potential of Pax Herbal Bitters in mitigating the negative effects of high fructose diets on the liver function of male Wistar rats. High fructose diets have gained attention due to their strong association with the development of metabolic disorders, such as obesity and insulin resistance. These diets harm the liver function, making the liver a crucial target organ in the context of metabolic well-being. The main goal of this study was to evaluate how Pax Herbal Bitters influenced the liver function of male Wistar rats following a high fructose diet. The rats were divided into different groups, each subjected to a specific diet, including high fructose diets and the oral administration of Pax Herbal Bitters.
