ABSTRACT
This study used the University of Benin Teaching Hospital as a case study to examine the impact of leadership on organizational performance. The study employed descriptive research survey design in building up this project job. One hundred responders from the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) comprised the sample size. A simple percentage and frequency count were used to assess the gathered data. The University of Benin Teaching Hospital's organizational performance is significantly impacted by leadership, according to the study. It was determined that the University of Benin Teaching Hospital's organizational performance is significantly impacted by democratic, autocratic, and transformational leadership styles. According to the report, the University of Benin Teaching Hospital should make sure that its management or leader embraces democratic leadership in order to stimulate goal-setting and employee involvement inside the company. Additionally, it was suggested that organizational leaders at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital refrain from using autocratic leadership as this could negatively impact the effectiveness of their organization.
