ABSTRACT

This study examined the effect of feasibility study on entrepreneurial success using three communities in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State as a case study. The communities are: Ekosodin, Adolor and Oluku Community. The objectives of the study are to check the extent to which feasibility study can serve as a guide towards assessing performance of a project, ascertain the degree to which feasibility study can be used as a tool for identification of viable project, and evaluate the extent to which feasibility study can be used to attract financing to a project. The study is of utmost relevance as it tends to fill the gap in literature by analyzing the effect of feasibility study on entrepreneurial success and also to show the necessary feasibility study skills for entrepreneurship development. The researchers made use of primary and secondary sources of data. The primary sources of data include the questionnaire, while the secondary sources of data include journals, magazines, textbooks, and the internet. In analyzing the data, the researcher made use of frequency count and simple percentage in computing the findings from the research.
