EFFECT OF CLASS SIZE ON STUDENTS’ ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN OREDO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF EDO STATE

ABSTRACT

Based on the findings of this study, it was concluded that that class size influence students’ academic performance in secondary schools. In other words, the small and large nature of the class impinge on the students’ academic performance. Hence, it becomes extremely fundamental for the teacher/ student ratio be checkmated in order to promote conducive teaching and learning environment that consequently lead to increase in academic performance.
