ABSTRACT

The development of high yield strength concrete using recycled aggregate has become an increasingly important topic in recent years due to the need for sustainable and environmentally friendly construction materials. This project presents a summary of research on the use of recycled aggregate in the production of high strength concrete. The study aims to investigate the effects of using recycled aggregate on the strength, durability, and workability of concrete and to optimize the mix design parameters to achieve high yield strength concrete.

The scope of the work includes a literature review, experimental investigations, and optimization of mix design parameters such as water-cement ratio, cement content, and aggregate size. The results of this study suggest that recycled aggregate can be successfully used in high strength concrete with careful selection of the aggregate size, proportion of coarse aggregate, and mix design parameters. Furthermore, the study recommends further research on the use of additives and alternative binders to improve the properties of recycled aggregate concrete.

The results indicated that the compressive strength of recycled coarse aggregate produce higher strength 15% replacement at 28 days compressive strength of 48N/ against 0% replacement of 42 N/  natural coarse aggregate.

Use of recycle coarse aggregate in concrete reduce the cost of project and prevent the environment from pollution which are polluted by blasting and quarrying of aggregate this is turn directly reduce the waste impact of construction on environment. Overall, this project provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of research on the development of high yield strength concrete using recycled aggregate.
