ABSTRACT

With the emergence of the technology evolution through complex electrical and electronic devices, the development of high-performance power supply provides low power losses and high stability to the fluctuating input voltages. This development improves the lifespan of the electrical and electronic devices. This work shows the design of an LLC resonant converter capable of supplying as high as 300W, 12V-DC output, at very low switching losses. This circuit will be used to power a 12V-DC buck converter and two 12V-DC boost converters respectively. The LLC resonant converter is implemented using the TEA19161T resonant controller, which works together with a TEA19162T active power factor correction (PFC) controller and a TEA1995T synchronous rectifier (SR) controller. This power supply circuit provided a lot of benefits, some of which included the ability to handle wide input voltage variations; 90V~264V, a high output current- sourcing capacity; a maximum of 30A, and operating at a frequency of 100kHz, which led to a great reduction in the size of the inductors
