ABSTRACT

The rapid growth of urbanization and the increasing need for efficient transportation have necessitated the development of a robust and user-friendly cab booking system. This project focuses on designing a comprehensive cab booking system aimed at streamlining the process of booking, managing, and tracking cab services for both customers and service providers. The system leverages modern technologies to ensure a seamless and secure experience. Key features include real-time ride tracking, fare estimation, driver and vehicle details, and payment integration, all accessible through a mobile and web application interface. The design process incorporates user-centered design principles to ensure ease of use, alongside advanced algorithms for optimal cab dispatch and route planning. Additionally, the system incorporates data analytics to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction. The project culminates in a functional prototype, demonstrating the feasibility and advantages of an integrated cab booking solution in contemporary urban settings.
