ABSTRACT
The issues with waste management in Nigeria are discussed in this essay, along with some crucial issues that must be resolved in order to successfully dispose of waste, reduce labor costs, and generate wealth from waste while correctly disposing of waste and preventing the spread of germs by promoting contactless disposal and sorting at the source. Therein, a disposal system that promotes these was created, manufactured, and reported. In chapter one, it explains the benefits of the project and why it is vital. It outlines the problem and the work's intended audience, which is primarily the University of Benin, as well as how long the project will last. Chapter two shows a study that was reportedly done on how other people helped create effective waste management systems in the past. It displays the various methods of disposal, the amount of waste that each country produces, as well as statistics and strategies put in place to ensure effective disposal. Chapter three shows how the system was designed and made using this approach to problem-solving. It demonstrates the numerous entities employed, their connections, their operating principles, and the activation methods. It also provides a summary of the costs incurred in the system's fabrication. Chapter four shows the system's tests to assure correct operations are documented. It also displays the outcomes and specifications needed for efficient operation. Chapter five shows the project's completion and suggested improvements. It outlines the system's limitations and what additional work can be done in the future to ensure system effectiveness.
