ABSTRACT
This work is aimed at addressing the unmistakable need for a unified and simplified approach to device management in a world saturated with electronic appliances, each accompanied by its dedicated remote control. To fulfil this pressing requirement, the project focuses on the development and deployment of a Smart Universal Remote System. This innovative solution leverages the capabilities of the versatile Atmega328 microcontroller in synergy with the TSOP (Thin Small Outline Package) sensor, ultimately resulting in the establishment of a standardized communication link between the microcontroller and an infrared (IR) remote controller. The overarching objective of this project is crystal clear: to empower users with the unparalleled convenience of effortlessly controlling a myriad of electronic appliances. This convenience is achieved through the utilization of a single, all-encompassing remote-control device. By amalgamating the Atmega328 microcontroller with the TSOP sensor, we aim to provide individuals with a seamless and user-friendly experience in managing their diverse array of electronic devices. This project's fundamental aim is to simplify daily life by streamlining device control, enhancing user convenience, and promoting the efficient utilization of technology.
