ABSTRACT
This study has examined the relationship and effect of deposit insurance scheme on systematic risk of deposit money banks in Nigeria. Using annual time series data covering the period 2000- 2016 and regression techniques, the empirical results reveal that the deposit insurance scheme has no significant effect on deposit money bank systemic risk in Nigeria.
