ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to visually represent the inherent value and worth of women and the feminine qualities they embody. Using The Edo people as a case study. This painting project aimed to produce a painting expanding the knowledge of Its viewers on the beauty and value of women in Edo. Many painters have been able to depict this subject for years in a variety of ways, including realism, impressionism, expressionism, abstract, etc. Oil paints on canvas were used by the researcher to determine the composition. Construction of the stretcher, stretching the canvas, and priming all contributed to the completion of this painting endeavor. Additionally, it would document the creation of a miniature sketch and its transfer to the main canvas. The painting exercise included various stages and steps and finally detailing of figures.
