Summary
This study focuses on the language of Nigerian Pidgin in sexual discourse, using Pararan Mock News as a case study. The first chapter introduces the topic, the purpose of the study was presented, thereafter the limitation/scope of study was given. The methodology was given next, which entails watching and analyzing videos from Pararan's Mock News, on Facebook. The conceptual metaphor theory propounded by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson served as the theoretical framework for this paper. Related scholarships were copiously reviewed, which led to the justification of study which entails the study of how sexual discourse is carried out in Nigerian Pidgin, using the conceptual metaphor theory.
