ABSTRACT
Meat is considered the most valuable product of livestock and it is regarded as the main source of protein. Meat varies depending on the different sources through which they can be obtained.
This survey was carried out in order to determine the pattern of consumption and expenditure of the various types of meat. The survey was carried out in Akoko Edo, Etsako East and Etsako West local government areas of Edo state.
Questionnaires we’re given to respondents of various backgrounds, ethnicity, financial status and social stratification in order to get their data.
