ABSTRACT

The Automatic Changeover Switching System is a critical component in 12-volt inverters, offering seamless and uninterrupted power transitions between primary and backup sources(solar, Generator). This abstract provides an overview of the Automatic changeover switching system within a 12-volt inverter systems, highlighting its significance in maintaining power supply reliability for various applications. It elucidates the operational mechanisms, control algorithms, and benefits of the automatic changeover switch integration in the context of low-voltage Energy Saving Box. The operational mechanism of the Automatic Changeover Switching System, its integration with inverter technologies, and the benefits it offers in scenarios like residential, commercial, and industrial setups its role in enhancing power reliability for various applications. A voltage sensing circuit, relays, microcontroller, LEDs are some of the components used in the fabrication. Additionally, the highlighted challenges and emerging trends related to the switching system's integration in inverters, showcasing its potential to contribute to a resilient and dependable power infrastructure.The simulation of the designed circuitry was conducted using proteus design suit software to check for possible errors. The simulation results vindicated the method used, thus, confirming the workability of the proposed design.
