ABSTRACT
We humans live in a world in which language is the tool for communication in the society. These languages are different depending on the continent, race and tribes we find ourselves.
Since the languages we speak are the tools of our interaction with people from the same tribe or not.
This work examines the motivations behind this sociolinguistics phenomenon and provides reasons as to why it is a welcome trend in the Nigerian music industry using the selected songs presented in this data.
