ABSTRACT

This research investigates the climate change adaptation strategies among pepper farmers in Ika South L.G.A, Delta State, Nigeria. The study comprehensively analyzes the socio-demographic characteristics, adaptation strategies, information sources, and constraints faced by these farmers. The findings shed light on the diverse practices employed by the farmers, including crop diversification, organic farming, water management, and agroforestry, reflecting a blend of traditional knowledge and modern agricultural techniques. Additionally, the study highlights significant challenges faced by the farmers, such as limited access to information, financial constraints, and policy gaps. Through a comparative lens with existing literature, this research provides valuable insights into the complexities of climate change adaptation in agricultural communities.
