SUMMARY

The foregoing discussion has clearly revealed impact of Boko Haram crisis and force migration in Nigeria, from 2009 to 2019. It is equally obvious that domestic terrorism in the country specially since the return to civil rule in 1999 has constituted a serious threat to national interest, peace and national security and has led to series of violation of fundamental human rights among others.

To achieve the basic objective of this long easy, the study was divided into five functionally related chapters. To start with, in chapter one a broad introduction to the study with references to background to Boko Haram insurgency was undertook. Following that, the purpose of the study was started, viz to dispel the growing negative perception that Nigeria military cannot defeat Boko Haram. The methodology of study was clearly stated to include oral traditions and written materials. The scope of study was noted to be from 1960, after which relevant literature relating to the work were thoroughly reviewed.
