ABSTRACT
The force that blood exerts on artery walls during cardiac circulation is known as blood pressure. This force is linked to variations in progesterone and estrogen levels, which control the development and shedding of the uterine lining. The two stages of the menstrual cycle are the luteal (secretory) and follicular (proliferative) phases. This research set out to find out how blood pressure varies throughout the menstrual cycle. The study used a cross-sectional approach to investigate population-level differences in blood pressure. A digital sphygmomanometer was used to measure the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of forty female volunteers, ages 18 to 26, throughout the menstrual, ovulatory, and luteal phases. The findings showed that there were no appreciable differences in either the diastolic or systolic blood pressure throughout the various menstrual cycle phases. In conclusion, blood pressure does not significantly change throughout the course of the menstrual cycle.
