ABSTRACT
The research specifically examined the audience perception of broadcast media campaigns on child trafficking in Benin City, Edo state. The objectives of this study were to determine the extent of exposure on broadcast media campaigns and how it influenced the audience. The survey design was adopted for this study with the aid of 12-item questionnaire which was administered to 200 respondents purposively selected from the University of Benin, in Edo state. Data obtained were analyzed and presented with the aid of frequency tables, simple percentages and mean score. The key findings of this study showed that broadcast media campaigns was instrumental for sharing information about child trafficking in the state. Therefore, this study concludes that broadcast media campaigns was effective and influential in spreading information on child trafficking.
