ABSTRACT
This study is focused on finding out the Attitude and Knowledge of Benin Residents towards the Broadcast Media Reportage of Governor Godwin Obaseki Edojobs policy. The research is based on a quantitave method approach {Quantitave survey}. The quantitative survey targets a diverse sample of residents aged between 18 to 45 years from various geographical locations. Participants are asked to rate their attitude and knowledge towards the broadcast media reportage of the Edojobs policy. Additionally, the survey explores factors influencing their positive or negative reactions to the broadcast media reportage of the Edojobs policy such as a lack of trust in the broadcast media, the broadcast media not doing enough in their coverage of the Edojobs policy among others. The findings of this research shed light on the extent to which the broadcast media reportage of the Edojobs policy resonates with the Benin City demographic. It analyzes the impact of the broadcast media reportage on their perception and whether the broadcast media reportage of this Edojobs policy establishes a good connection with these Benin City residents leading to giving them a positive attitude and knowledge about the Edojobs policy.
The results are expected to provide valuable insights for the broadcast media platforms seeking to optimize their strategies for reaching and engaging with the Benin City audience on their platforms. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge about Edojobs and its policies and specifically highlights the unique role of the broadcast media in capturing the attention of the Benin City audience.
