ABSTRACT
The water quality assessment at upstream, midstream, and downstream locations indicates generally acceptable conditions for irrigation based on established standards. pH values, although slightly variable, fall within the recommended range for irrigation. Electrical Conductivity (EC) and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels also align with FAO guidelines, suggesting suitability for irrigation purposes. Bicarbonate levels show an increase downstream, indicating elevated water alkalinity. Sodium and Potassium concentrations remain within acceptable limits. While most other elements comply with FAO standards, elevated manganese levels at all locations merit ongoing monitoring. Overall, these findings highlight the importance of continued vigilance, especially in addressing alkalinity changes and potential long-term impacts on soil and ecosystem health.
