ABSTRACT
This study was on an assessment of leadership styles in senior secondary schools in Edo State. Three objectives were raised which included: To examine the effects of leadership behaviors on teachers’ job performance, to identify the most dominant leadership style exhibited among head teachers and to identify the leadership style used by head teachers that enhances teachers’ job performance. A total of 77 responses were received and validated from the enrolled participants where all respondents were drawn from selected secondary schools in Edo state. Hypothesis was tested using Chi-Square statistical tool (SPSS).
