ABSTRACT
This study investigates the factors Affecting the Performance of Women Entrepreneurs in Nigeria, specifically in the city of Benin, Edo state. A population of 131 was identified, and a sample size of 100 was selected using the Taro Yamane formula. A questionnaire was used to collect data, with 75 filled and returned copies. Data analysis utilized tables, percentages, and regression analysis through SPSS software to test the research hypothesis. The study reveals the answer to this three questions: what are the challenges faced by women Entrepreneurs in their business, what are the major opportunities available to woman Entrepreneurs in their business , and what are the policies affecting women Entrepreneurs and their business . In conclusion, this study emphasizes the importance of supporting Women Entrepreneurs in improving the landscape of Nigerian businesses. As a result, it recommends that more Women should be encouraged into Entrepreneurship and supported.
