ABSTRACT
The study examines the analysis of learning styles among economic students in public senior secondary schools in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State. To achieve the purpose of the study, four research questions were raised and examined. The sample size for the study was made up of 125 senior secondary students. The questionnaire was the instrument for data collection. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. An analysis of data was done using mean and standard deviation.
From the finding, it unveiled that visual and kinesthetic are the preferred learning styles, moreover has revealed in the study no learning styles is superior to another in studying and learning Economics in public secondary schools in in Ovia North East local government area of Edo state.
The study recommended that teachers should know and get familiar with every learning before teaching, also government should organize seminars, workshop and symposium for Economics teachers how to acknowledge and adopt the choicest of the learning styles preferred by the students and contemporary issues in the field.
