With the findings of the study, the researcher concluded that automobile technology graduates to gain employment in the current automobile sector labour market, the possession of autotronnics competencies is essential. The competencies includes; iMaintenance of electronic control system components of motor vehiMaintenance of automotive sensors and actuators in motor vehicleMs.maintenance of different automotive computer control and communication.Diagnosis of faults in motor vehicle control system and motor vehicle trouble shooting using diagnostic trouble code. Thus graduates of automobile technology must possess these competencies in order t to meet up with the demand of employers. Because no maintenance of modern automobile can be effective without these competencies. Therefore the polytechnics offering automobile technology need to ensure the students have acquired the competencies before graduation
