ABSTRACT
This chapter serves as the conclusion of the research, providing a synthesis of key findings and offering a call to action for youths, as well as final reflections on the role of technology in youth empowerment in Benin City, Edo State. The research firstly highlighted the myriad challenges faced by youths in Benin City, Edo State, particularly concerning their empowerment through technology and entrepreneurship. From inadequate access to technological infrastructure to outdated government policies and limited private sector involvement, various barriers hinder the full realization of youths' potential in the digital economy. Despite these challenges, there is also cause for optimism. The research has shown that Benin City's youth population possesses considerable digital literacy and entrepreneurial spirit. Many young people are eager to leverage technology to create businesses and solve pressing societal problems. However, they require support, resources, and an enabling environment to succeed. Therefore, the conclusion serves as a call to action for youths in Benin City to harness their skills, creativity, and determination to drive positive change in their communities. By embracing innovation, collaboration, and resilience, young people can overcome obstacles and seize opportunities in the digital economy. Moreso, stakeholders at all levels, including government, industry, academia, and civil society, must work together to support youth empowerment initiatives.
