ABSTRACT
This research explores the entrepreneurial landscape of agency banking practice in Nigeria, focusing on the inherent opportunities and challenges within the sector. The chosen research design is descriptive and aimed at providing a comprehensive account of the current state of affairs. By assessing the business opportunities to agency banking operators in nigeria, the study delves into the challenges and opportunities related to the effective adoption and implementation of agency banking services in Nigeria. The research draws data from a population comprising agency banking service providers and other financial institutions, employing purposive and stratified sampling techniques, resulting in a sample size of 150 service providers. The study employed a structured measurement approach, including variables like entrepreneurial opportunities, challenges, and agency banking performance. These variables are measured through the use of questionnaires. Data collection primarily involves questionnaires distributed to agency banking service providers, while data analysis employs descriptive statistics and chi-square tests to summarize and interpret the findings.
