ABSTRACT
This work is based on the morphological aspect of linguistics. We shall identify the types of affixes that occur in the dialect taking into consideration their functions and how the affixes function with reduplicatives which is another type of affix in the dialect. Finally, this work will examine compounding as a morphological process and how compound words function with affixes in the dialect. The work employed a descriptive linguistics analysis. The findings show that suffixes, affixes and prefixes contribute to the derivation of new forms in the dialect. It is important that other researchers should take up other aspects of this study which time could not permit.
