ABSTRACT

This study investigated the Administration of Community Driven Infrastructure in Egor Community, Benin City. The study utilized a structured questionnaire to obtain data from twenty (20) community leaders and members. The questionnaires were collated, computed using frequency count, simple percentage, and thereafter analysed using content analysis. Findings in this study reveal that there is need for community involvement in infrastructural development. Further, the study reveals that the community driven infrastructure(s) in the Egor Community include; boreholes, transportation/bus parks, transformers to supply light within the community, community town halls and community schools. The study also reveals that the level of effectiveness in the administration of community driven infrastructure in Egor Community is poor.
