ABSTRACT

I present a computer generated data of some statistical control- charts; namely, the EWMA and Shewhart x-bar charts. Plotted graphs shows how the point are represented, when in control. This study comes in handy for any production process operating on variable data or observations. By collecting and analysing production data using this R worksheet, control charts can detect process changes early enough to allow corrective actions to be implemented and prevent defective product from being manufactured.
