CONCLUSION
Through the formations of this my work which is the study of the Anioma people of Delta state. The aim was to understand and know who these people of Anioma were and are, Anioma is located along the River Niger in Nigeria and the meaning of this Anioma is ‘Good-land’ as I aforementioned is a town that consists of so much heritage, beauty and customs, definitely it is a place that consists of a lot of colour. Just as Anioma shapes its people, so does the ‘good land' shape its indigenes and the people who live there. I have dug deep within myself to be able to do a work that defines who these people are, where they came from, how they came to be people of Anioma and their relevance to society and the relevance of their community on them too.
Anioma is located in the areas of the West Basin of River Niger, South within the present Delta state of Nigeria, Anioma is a region beautifully constructed, a place of not too much troubles or worries. Its local government are nine, excluding the other sixteen (16) that make up the rest of Delta state, all together the local governments in Delta state are 25, 9 for the area of Anioma and namely are: Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Ika South, Ika North-East, Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, Oshimilli North, Oshimilli South, Ukwuani, though its towns are numerous. Some of the being popular as a matter of fact such as Asaba, Isheagu, Ogbe, Issele-Uku, Mbiri, Kwale, Agbo, Ilah, Igbeku, Igbanke these are some of the popular towns that make up the area of Anioma, some of which are very busy and popular so many thing such as Asaba which is a very commercial town where businesses are conducted on a daily basis, from hotels, shops, bars, sport centres, whatever makes a city busy and commercial it goes down in Asaba as I have also aforementioned that Anioma and its people are a busy breed due to resources and how their town is shaped.
