ABSTRACT
The study was set out to investigate the influence of laboratory practical in the learning of photosynthesis in secondary schools in Ovia North-East Local Government Area in Edo State.
During the course of the study, research questions were directed on ‘the factors that inhibits students’ achievement in Biology in Oredo Local Government Area in Edo State’. Based on the research problem and the significance of the study, four research questions were postulated, the result obtained the statistical analysis of the data collected as presented in tables ,provides answer for the research questions raised, With a the cut-off-point of 2.50,the result revealed the factors that inhibits students’ achievement in Biology in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, and items that did not meet up to the cut-off mark point of 2.50, were rejected. Thus, the findings were discussed based on the research questions.
After a thorough literature excavation, followed by a statistical analysis of the data collected via questionnaire, the result obtained revealed the factors that inhibits students’ achievement in Biology in Oredo Metropolis of Edo State.
