ABSTRACT
The study was conducted to analyse and critically discuss various noticeable usage, meaning components and effect of some slangs in the Urhobo language. The summary of this study can be highlighted as follows: Firstly, This research work was collected using the observation method as well verbal communication with native speakers of the dialect across Agbarho and ughelli the data was gotten through the question and answer method as well as provision of all the slangs used in this research work providing accurate slangs from not less than three sources who helped. The data collected for this study were gathered by conducting interviews with few Urhobo native speakers who are knowledgeable of the usage of Urhobo slangs and conventional Urhobo words.
