ABSTRACT
Euthanasia is known as the act of painlessly putting to death persons suffering from incurable conditions or diseases. undoubtedly, survival is valuable but sometimes and in certain conditions, life becomes painful and full of suffering which makes survival seem like a curse, and death may seem like a blessing at the time. Both the discussion and practice of euthanasia raises questions about morality, informed consent and the duties of physicians. With innovations and technological developments in the field of medicine; capacity to extend life the problem is much more pressing, though the practice of euthanasia is widespread. despite these some contemporary Western cultures remain strongly opposed to euthanasia, maintaining that doctors ought not to kill or save when it is possible. Hence, the concept is debatable.
The purpose of this study is to examine the moral and legal questions pertaining to euthanasia, and to suggest those aspects that should be considered to make life with dignity even at the end. Analytic method was adopted in the course of the study.
