ABSTRACT
This project addresses the Kantian perspective on the moral implications of divorce in Contemporary Nigeria. Here, we exposed the nature of divorce vis-à-vis its moral implications and how it affects the Contemporary Nigeria, and by extension the contemporary society. In the course of this research, Kant’s ethics was exposed as a panacea to solving the high rate of divorce in Contemporary Nigeria. Though they are series of arguments for and against divorce, t cannot be over-emphasized that divorce does more harm than good in Contemporary Nigeria as it represents a moral evil against one of the most basic foundation of human society created by God in the Garden of Eden: marriage.
